He calls himself the longest serving General, having been there in the trenches when urban music was beginning to gain fame.
Sniper Storm and his ‘Masoja to the World’ brigade will host an oddly named Asante Sana gig at Club 1+1 this Friday 20 April.
The show is being organised by DTL, another branch of 2Kings Entertainment which focuses on club promotions.
This will be Sniper’s first performance at Club 1+1, a venue which of late has been a hub of local performances following the successful launch of Killer T and Takura’s albums at the same venue.
“People should expect an electrifying performance,” said Sniper.
“Asante Sana is me saying thank you to all my fans for the love support and strength over the years.
“It will be my first event at 1+1 and im hoping to play for a different crowd than we normally play for.”
Sniper said the show which is happening in a central place was also a chance for those fans that don’t normally come to events to come out and enjoy his music.
Asante Sana show will feature guest appearances by rapper Kikky Badass, dancehall star Boom Beto and various DJs on rotation.
Charges are pegged at $5 for an ordinary ticket and $10 for the VIP.
