Bobi Wine demands police to provide his wedding ring

By Paul Waiswa

Politician turned musician Robert Kyagulanyi a.k.a Bobi Wine yesterday pleaded before the Gulu High court grade one Magistrate, Kintu Isaac Imram to order the Uganda Police produce his wedding ring among other belongings that is still being held by unclear reasons ever since his fateful arrest following the Arua Municipality by-election violence that even left his driver Yasin Kawuma dead.

Evidently, married people are well versed with so many reasons as to why marriage is so important and indeed have experienced some of the good that comes from it especially donning the wedding ring on their fingers no wonder the Ghetto gladiator is crying for foul play.

The Kyadondo East legislator was on Thursday appearing before the Gulu High court where he and 34 others including three fellow legislators are accused of Treason for allegedly stoning the vehicle of President Yoweri Museveni during the Arua Municipality by-election in August of 2018.

Besides his ring, some of Bobi Wine’s belongings that are still being held by the Uganda Police include his iPhone, UGX 3.5 million, 600 US Dollars, a wrist-watch and two Identity Cards one belonging to Cavendish University and one for Parliament of Uganda and his Tundra ride among others.
