Reckless people killed my son- Eng. Plan Mugisha

The family of Late
Arnold Ainebyona Mugisha has suggested that government should recall all guns
owned by private security firms.

Arnold, 26, the owner
of Hickory Bar who was Tuesday shot and killed by Moses Angoria, a security
guard at Quality Supermarket in Naalya

Arnold succumbed to
wounds he sustained as he was being rushed to Independent Hospital in Ntinda
after a bullet shattered his jaws.

Eyewitnesses who
flooded social media to narrate the genesis of the unfortunate incident allege
that the deceased after quarrelling with the guard went ahead to drive over the
Askari’s leg who was identified as Awaze Babu.

Responding to the
untimely death of their son family members who gathered at All Saints Church in
Nakasero on Wednesday for a Funeral Service asked government to withdraw guns
held by the private security firms.

While making his
remarks, Ainebyona’s father Engineer Plan Mugisha broke into tears at the point
he stated it that his son was shot to death as a result of tribalism. He said
that though it’s the police to do investigations, he had been told that the
shooters intended to do it “Just because Arnold was of a certain tribe,” He
said.

“I want to call
government into action over this matter, it’s becoming serious” He added.

The statement awakened
murmuring within the congregation with some suggesting that the aggrieved dad was
going off-topic
